The MAX5066EVKIT evaluation kit is an ideal solution for design engineers looking for an easy-to-use and programmable off-line converter. The MAX5066EVKIT helps design engineers to incorporate an efficient power supply solution into their existing design without having to take the time to design the entire DC/DC and AC/DC topology from scratch. The MAX5066EVKIT is also designed to directly evaluate a wide range of high current (up to 80A) wide input voltage range converters. It provides engineers with all of the necessary components and features to ensure a successful design, including a built-in voltage regulator, precise current limit, and high efficiency over wide load and line conditions.

The MAX5066EVKIT is a universal 5-20V USB PD (Power Delivery) controller. It provides all the necessary components and features for a low-cost, high-efficiency, and improved dynamic response off-line converter. It also includes a wide range of features that make it suitable for a variety of applications, including adjustable output voltage and current, integrated VPWR sequencing, power on reset, and power-off detection. It also offers an adjustable clock frequency, a keypad, and high- and low-side gate drivers.
