The MAX5081ATE is a synchronous, step-down current-mode, switching regulator with an integrated high-side and low- side MOSFET. This high-performance DC-DC converter is designed to provide adjustable, high- current and high-frequency output. It includes current-mode control, voltage-mode control, internal soft-start, programmable overcurrent protection, clock synchronizing capability, and very low ripple and noise performance.

The MAX5081ATE belongs to a comprehensive line of voltage regulators, which are a type of power management IC (PMIC) - Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators.
