The MAX5442AEUB+ is a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for data acquisition applications. It is capable of converting 8-bit digital codes into analog voltages up to 5.6V with a resolution of 10-bits, providing a total of 2¹⁰ voltage settings. The output voltage is programmable, providing smooth transitions between successive settings and ideal linearity between levels. The operations of the MAX5442AEUB are based on the Voltage Output Current-Steering DAC design.
