MAX5633UCB+D is an 8-bit, single-channel, voltage output, digital-to-analog converter (DAC). It features a low-noise, low-power design and flexible interface options for easy system integration. The MAX5633UCB+D is available in two accuracy grades to provide maximum system flexibility and fit a wide range of applications. The MAX5633UCB+D offers a wide operating supply voltage range, a programmable reference voltage, a choice of voltage output, and low total harmonic distortion (THD). It is ideal for single-supply, high-resolution signal conditioning and processing applications.
The MAX5633UCB+D is designed for use in many signal-conditioning applications and is particularly suitable for holding a range of signal levels over time. It can be used to filter out noise and set signal values over a wide range. In applications where high-resolution ADC, DAC and signal conditioning are required, such as in medical imaging, data acquisition systems, audio signal processing and instrumentation, the MAX5633UCB+D can provide excellent performance.
The MAX5633UCB+D provides high-resolution data conversion without sacrificing low power consumption. Its low-power design allows operation with either a single 1.8 V supply or dual ±1.8 V supplies. Its output amplifier can be programmed to produce voltage output levels from 0 to 5 V, and its low-noise amplifier limits has a Maximum Harmonic Distortion (THD) of -83 dB. The MAX5633UCB+D also offers a programmable reference voltage output with a full-scale range up to 5 V. This high-resolution digital-to-analog converter provides excellent performance for applications that require precise control over the output voltage level.
The working principle of the MAX5633UCB+D is relatively simple and straightforward. A digital data input is used to control the output voltage level. The digital data is converted into an analog voltage level using an internal voltage converter.
