The MAX5661EVKIT evaluation kit enables users to easily evaluate the performance of Analog Devices\' digital to analog converters (DACs). It provides complete control over the DC output voltage of the MAX5661 DAC, meaning users can work with an exact output level. The MAX5661EVKIT has an integrated 8-bit digital-to-analog converter interface that uses parallel and serial data interfaces. This voltage regulator features a low-dropout behavior, low quiescent current, output voltage accuracy of ±1.5%, and a maximum output current of up to 25mA. This voltage regulator supports four operation modes: continuous, regulated, or PWM mode.
The MAX5661EVKIT evaluation kit also includes multiple power supply configurations. The kit can be powered from a single 3.3V or 5V supply, the onboard DAC requires 3.3V, and the MAX11296 and MAX12450 require a 1.8V supply. The onboard USB port can be used to power the board from USB.
