MAX5703AUB+

The MAX5703AUB+ is a high-performance, single-channel, 8-/10-/12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed with advanced Sigma-Delta modulation and bipolar output stages. The converter integrates an advanced feature set, allowing accurate, low-distortion conversion across multiple applications with performance beyond other single DACs.

The MAX5703AUB+ provides high precision and excellent linearity that enable it to be used for applications such as seismic recording, pressure sensing and control, audio-sampling systems, automotive systems, and sensor conditioning.

The MAX5703AUB+ provides excellent output current and voltage range, allowing maximum output voltage range of 2.5Vpp and maximum current output of 11mA.

The MAX5703AUB+ features an on-board reference. The reference allows the device to achieve very precise 0.25LSB linearity over the entire operating temperature range. The reference can be programmed via a single-bit input to select the reference range and allows the user to change the output range to match the reference range.

The MAX5703AUB+ also features a high-accuracy, programmable power-off feature ensuring low-noise and low-drift operation. When the power-off feature is enabled, the DAC output is set to a predetermined voltage. This feature reduces power consumption and makes for an electrically quiet working environment.

The MAX5703AUB+ has an internal charge pump for powering high-speed operations. The charge pump is capable of providing up to 40mA of current for fast settling and low noise. This makes it ideal for use in applications requiring fast settling times, such as audio-sampling systems and seismic recording.
