Digital to Analog Converters (DACs) allow analog signals to be generated from digital input signals. The MAX5893EGK+D is a high-performance DAC that is suitable for data acquisition and signal processing applications. It features a 14-bit resolution and +1LSB absolute accuracy in 24-bit data formats. The MAX5893EGK+D can be used in various applications, such as medical imaging systems, communication and audio systems, industrial control systems, embedded systems, and network control systems.

The MAX5893EGK+D is composed of a digital-to-analog conversion (DAC) core, a number of peripheral digital circuits, and an input buffer. The DAC core is based on a 12-bit multi-input current switching architecture. This multi-input architecture enables multiple simultaneous conversions, enabling high-speed operation. The current-mode output structure amplifies the output voltage swing for higher dynamic range operation.

The MAX5893EGK+D is also equipped with a number of peripheral digital circuits, such as a programmable reference voltage (Vref) and built-in analog filters. The built-in Vref can be programmed via I2C or an external reference voltage.
