The MAX5970EVKIT+ is a high-efficiency, single-channel buck-boost LED driver evaluation board that demonstrates the MAX5970, a current-mode buck-boost converter for LED applications. The board operates from a 39V to 60V input DC supply and provides up to 25W of power to LED strings with up to 22V of differential voltage.
The MAX5970EVKIT+ is designed to demonstrate the MAX5970’s high-efficiency buck-boost LED driver. The core of the MAX5970EVKIT+ is the current-mode buck-boost converter, which was designed to provide up to 25W of wide-range led lighting applications that operate from a 39V to 60V input DC supply. This board comes with the necessary components and circuitry to evaluate the performance of the MAX5970 buck-boost LED driver IC.
The MAX5970EVKIT+ comes with a constant current output range from 350mA to 1A, and a 500-2000K dimming range depending on the LED string used.
