Within the Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC) family, Gate Drivers are specially designed ICs that propagate a signal, usually named Enable or Gate, to a series of power stages, allowing them to act. The MAX627EPA+ is a single/dual Micropower Gate/Inverter Driver from Maxim, which offers high-speed performance, fast turn-on and turn-off times, low propagation delay and low-amplitude on-state voltage, making it a great fit for many industrial, automotive and digital power applications.

The MAX627EPA+ is compatible with bipolar junction transistors (BJTs), power Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors (MOSFETs) and other power devices in a wide range of voltage and current applications.
