The internal circuit of MAX6310UK39D2-T consists of two comparators, monitoring pins, reset pins, voltage detector and control logic. It has two pins for power supply, one pin for monitoring threshold, active low reset pin, active low reset delay timer, active low reset timeout and active low reset enable. The two comparators are responsible for monitoring voltage level. If the voltage is below the reset threshold, the reset signal will be generated. The second comparator monitors the voltage level and will be triggered when the voltage drops to the reset timeout level.

The reset enable pin allows users to manually reset the system and is used to de-assert the reset signal. The reset pin is an active low which is used to reset the microprocessor by asserting a low reset signal when it detects an abnormal condition. The reset delay timer will stretch the reset signal for a certain time and the reset timeout timer is used to reset the microprocessor when the power supply fails and no reset signal is needed.
