The MAX6329WHUT-T (Hut Package) is a three-terminal, single-output, adjustable, linear voltage regulator that regulates the output voltage within tolerance of ±1.2%. It is designed for use with low-power, point-of-load regulators when a high degree of accuracy and superior temperature stability is required. The MAX6329WHUT-T is well suited for powering portable stands, cigarette lighters, DC-DC converters, LED lighting, and other low-voltage hardware.

The MAX6329WHUT-T operates in the dropout range of 2.8V to 4V, with an adjustable output voltage range of 1.25V to 13.2V. The adjustable output is set with two external resistors of any value within the range of 100kΩ to 1MΩ. The device supports fast response, precise output voltage accuracy and thermal drift while maintaining the low quiescent current of 2.6 mA max.

The MAX6329WHUT-T offers excellent stability and good overload protection with an overload capability of ±2% over full temperature range and at least 0.3A sink current. This linear regulator has an input/output of 20V, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and comes in a compact Hut package, measuring only 2.5mm x 2.5mm. The MAX6329WHUT-T is available in through-hole package.

The MAX6329WHUT-T integrates a voltage reference, pass transistor, and current limit to provide precise output voltage.
