Supervisors are an important subset of Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC). They are used to provide system control, reset, status monitoring and precise power supply sequencing features. The MAX6338KUB+ is a supervisor which integrates many crucial functions primarily intended to identify and respond to system faults. It is a versatile supervisor IC, designed to improve system power-on accuracy and reliability while protecting against undesired over-voltage, overtemperature and over-current conditions.

The MAX6338KUB+ is a pin-compatible, cost-effective framework upgrade to earlier MAX6338F versions, offering a significant reduction in solution size and components count.
