MAX6461UR22+T

The MAX6461UR22+T is a high precision voltage monitor supervisor IC, consisting of a voltage reference and voltage comparator on a single chip. The MAX6461UR22+T guarantees accurate and reliable reset during voltages that drop below or above the preset voltage threshold. With open-drain or push-pull output, the device is pinpoint accurate within a ±5% accurate hysteresis (3% over temperature). It is designed for use in cell phones, digital cameras, portable media players, other portable and mobile electronics.

The power-on reset is issued when the voltage drops from above the selected reset level to below it. The power-good output is active when the voltage is above the power-good threshold. Moreover, the MAX6461UR22+T provides users with the option of push-pull or open-drain outputs for both reset and power-good pins.

The open-drain output is suitable for applications sensitive to switching noise or EMI, as the MAX6461UR22+T has an input voltage hysteresis of ±5%. This guarantees reliable reset even in hostile electrical environments. It is typically operated with a reset delay of 30μs. Moreover, it has a built-in watchdog timer within its power-good reference voltage, ensuring that the reset is issued in the event of software failure.
