The MAX6687AU40L+T is a solid-state temperature sensor that belongs to a family of devices known as Thermostats. This device is a combination of a high-accuracy analog temperature sensor and a digital thermostat, which provides thermostatic protection against extreme temperatures. The MAX6687 offers both Local and Remote temperature sensing, with thermally compensated local remote sensor accuracy, and programmable Hysteresis level of operation.
