The working principle of the MAX6791TPLD0+T is straightforward. It monitors two supply voltages, V_AA and V_BB, as well as power supply slew rates. The power failure detector will issue a reset signal when the supply Voltage falls below the trip threshold voltage and remains there for a minimum of 8ms. The trip threshold is selectable between 1.1V and 3.5V.
