The MAX6887GETE+ is a single-voltage supervisor with a programmable voltage output designed to monitor two system supplies. The MAX6887GETE+ provides two independent Comparators with supply voltage range of 1.0V to 5.5V, and each comparator has dedicated trip points and open-drain outputs for system reset or general purpose control.

The MAX6887GETE+ offers over-voltage protection (OVP) of +1.8V to +5.5V. This OVP serves to protect a system by guarding against voltages higher than the specified voltage or power-supply requirements and preventing it from moving into an over-voltage state. The WDT comprises a timeout counter and a 15:1 prescaler that can be reprogrammed to generate interrupts at a rate of 8sec to 1hr. When the processor activity fails to reset the counter, the device trips its reset output and asserts the reset pulse.
