The MAX7312AWG+T is an application-field part of I/O Expanders, which is a family of specialized integrated circuits used to expand the number of ports available over an I/O interface. The MAX7312AWG+T part is a low-power and low-cost discrete I/O expander with 2-channel general-purpose push-pull I/O pins.
