MAX755CSA+T is a DC-to-DC switching regulator, or simply a “switcher”, and falls into the larger category of Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC). This regulator is specifically specialized for applications motherboards, such as notebooks, desktops, and other portable devices. The MAX755CSA+T is a highly efficient, cost-effective DC-to-DC switching regulator solution, boasting an industry-leading package size of just 5mm x 5mm.

The MAX755CSA+T includes both a voltage regulator controller and power MOSFET and supports a large range of input voltage from 5V and up to a maximum of 18V. The output voltage is adjustable from 1.8V and up to 5.5V and can handle up to 1.5A of output current.
