The MAX759EWE is a DC-DC switching regulator from Maxim Integrated applicable to small, step-up and step-down converter applications like portable devices, LCDs, and more. Compared to linear regulators, these DC-DC regulators offer superior efficiency, higher power output and better protection as a result of their switching characteristics. This type of DC-DC voltage regulator is derived from a buck-boost switching regulator and is made with a low-dropout linear regulator (LDO) that functions as a low quiescent current power-sequence protector.

The MAX759EWE device features a 3-pin, low-profile MSOP package, and is designed to take a single input voltage and provide a regulated output voltage in a single active device. It incorporates a 2.4V-20V input operating range and offers adjustable output voltage ranging between 0.2V - 24V.
