The maximum frequency is user programmable from 100kHz to 200kHz via a resistor divider. The device also features a power-on-reset circuit, which holds the output voltage in a low impedance state during the start-up period.The MAX764ESA+T is versatile, with adjustable output voltages from 4.5 V to 16 V, allowing it to be used in a wide range of applications. Automotive and industrial applications, such as battery powered electronic equipment and DC-DC converters, can benefit from its combination of compact packaging, good line and load regulation, and low power requirements.The device\'s working principle is based on the buck converter topology. The basic components are a boost/buck converter and a regulating controller.
