It provides a low-dropout (LDO) regulator, buck-boost regulator, and integrated loads switch to optimize system performance and power consumption. The embedded power infrastructure provides the flexibility to implement an optimal power solution for smartphones, tablets, and a variety of battery-operated products, such as wearables and other industrial applications.
The MAX77601EVKIT# can be used to understand the features and performance of the MAX77601PMIC, and it also provides a development platform to integrate solutions with other components, such as MCUs, power MOSFETs, programmable device, etc. This helps accelerate the time to market of system level devices.
In the MAX77601EVKIT#, the PMIC includes a step-down DC/DC buck converter and an LDO linear regulator, both of which can supply different output voltages. The board also includes various MCU examples, such as the Texas Instruments TMS320F297/LF297 and Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA. Furthermore, core power rails (3.3V, -3.3V, 1.8V, 1.5V and 0.9V) are available, which allows testing and measuring of AMICs, power LDOs, buck converters, and system level parameters as the EVB supports up to 25V input voltage.
The MAX77601EVKIT# development board also includes an integrated capacitive touchscreen for electrically testing this part of the system. The capacitive touch interface is capable of supporting up to 10 user-defined touchpoints.
