The MAX765CPA+ is a monolithic high efficiency step-down DC/DC switch regulator, specifically designed for single lithium battery cell applications. The MAX765CPA+ offers a high efficiency, low quiescent current buck regulator with 0.9V to 5.0V adjustable output voltage. It integrates an adjustable pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller, a regulated low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator and a power MOSFET with 0.8Ω internal resistance. An on-chip 10µA start-up current sense amplifier and 4.5A internal peak current limit ensure a wide operating range and stable operation.
