DC DC Switching Regulators

The MAX766ESA+ is a DC DC switching regulator used to convert an input voltage to a regulated output voltage. The device contains a power MOSFET, a low-dropout voltage regulator, and logic circuitry, which together make up a complete solution for a wide range of applications. It can be used in applications requiring a regulated output voltage from input voltages as low as 2.6V up to 17V. The output current can be as high as 1A.

Application Field and Working Principle

The MAX766ESA+ is mainly used for higher current output than the standard voltage regulators that are commonly used.
