The MAX9062EBS+TG45 is a comparator from a linear family of integrated circuits. It is used for detecting and then comparing a signal input to a reference voltage on a single device. It helps to identify the presence or absence of voltage on the input and then make comparisons to the reference voltage.
The application field in which a device like the MAX9062EBS+TG45 is generally found are in precision data acquisition circuitry, analog-to-digital (A/D) circuitry and digital-to-analog (D/A) circuitry. It can also be used in detection of voltage levels, level transitions and Glitch transients.
