The MAX9372EUA+T are a form of logic chip also known as Translators, Level Shifters or Logic level converters. Logic chips are used to translate one type of digital logic signal into another type, such as translating an input signal from one logical voltage level to another voltage output. These types of logic chips provide the flexibility to connect devices operating at different voltage levels, or at different logic levels but using the same logic. Depending on the application, the MAX9372EUA+T Modules can provide various voltage and logic options to choose from.

The main applications in which the MAX9372EUA+T Modules can be used include serial communication applications, where two devices with different voltage/logic levels are connected. The MAX9372EUA+T Modules allow for the conversion of the TTL logic signaling up to a voltage of 32V.
