The MAX9378EUA+T is a bi-directional gate-level translator circuit that can be integrated into numerous conversion applications in both directions. It is a high-speed, low-power, low-voltage reversible logic-level translator specifically designed for two-wire bidirectional level-shifting applications. The +T version of the MAX9378EUA+T provides an internal 300Ω pull-up and pull-down resistor for each data line, allowing for optimal noise suppression in each data path.

The MAX9378EUA+T acts as a bridge between devices operating at different supply and I/O voltage levels. It converts logical 1 (high) and 0 (low) levels between voltage domains, and is frequently used to connect the 1.8V logic standard to the 3.3V logic standard.
