MAX9945ATT+T Application Field and Working PrincipleThe MAX9945ATT+T is a linear amplifier that is ideal for drive multiple differential signals and instrumentation. The device includes an offset adjustment feature to program the output voltage offset as desired. It has a typical THD of ± 0.02% and a typical SNR of 92 dB.The device consists of two low-impedance D-type buffer amplifiers. The offset voltage is adjustable from 0.1V-2V with a reference voltage of 0.2 Vref. The device operates from a single supply and can drive up to eight loads from a single amplifier. It has a high common-mode input voltage range, a low distortion and a wide frequency response. It is a versatile linear amplifier for multiple applications.The device operates as a two-stage amplifier where the first stage is a differential input stage. The second stage is a voltage gain stage. The input stage includes a low-impedance circuit, which ensures the signals delivered to the second stage have an input impedance that is below the common-mode impedance of the inputs.The input stage also includes an offset adjustment feature to program the output voltage offset which is the difference between the minimum output voltage level and the average output voltage level. This is achieved by adjusting the reference voltage. The second stage consists of two amplifier stages, one for positive signals and the other for negative signals.The two stages are configured as an inverting gain stage and the output voltage is determined by the voltage between the input and output of the first stage. The maximum output voltage is determined by the maximum voltage between the input and output terminals of the second stage.The device is ideal for drive multiple differential signals and instrumentation. It is also suitable for driving audio signals with low noise and distortion. Its low distortion and high common-mode input voltage range make it an ideal linear amplifier for multiple applications.
