Based on the F2MC-8FX family architecture and the second generation of Fujitsu\'s FR (Fast Reduced) core, the MB89635PF-GT-1359-BND offers exceptional computing performance, flexibility and control capabilities.
Application Field
The MB89635PF-GT-1359-BND is specially designed for embedded systems applications, particularly those in industrial automation, medical and communication images, audio, security systems, household appliances, office automation, as well as automotive electronics and related applications. It features a CPU clock frequency of up to 10MHz, a wide operating voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and can address up to 8KB of program memory and 16KB of data memory.
The device has a variety of peripheral functions, including multiple serial ports for communication with a variety of peripherals, analog devices such as ADCs and DACs, and PWM outputs for motor control. In particular, the device supports UART, I2C, and SPI communications, allowing for direct control of multiple external peripherals. It also provides an on-chip interrupt controller for pre-processing interrupt requests, as well as an on-chip watchdog timer for reliable and robust operation.
Working Principle
The operation of the MB89635PF-GT-1359-BND is based on the concept of a state machine. It features a dual-bus architecture, in which the internal status data is accessible on the data bus, while the control data is accessible on the control bus. The device includes an instruction memory, data memory and register status memory, each of which is accessible via the dual-bus architecture.
When an instruction is fetched by the core and executes, the corresponding data is transferred from the instruction memory to the data memory, while the current register status is also transferred from the register status memory to the data memory. The data is then processed by the core, and the resulting output is stored in the data memory or written to an external device. Once the instruction has been executed, the data is fetched from the data memory, and the register status is then updated with the new data values.
In addition to the dual-bus architecture and state machine concept, the MB89635PF-GT-1359-BND offers a variety of resources, such as the internal interrupt controller, the analog devices such as ADCs and DACs, serial communication ports, and the PWM outputs. These resources are controlled and synchronized through an interrupt handler, which allows the microcontroller to respond to events quickly and efficiently.
