The MB96F395RWAPMC-GSE2 is an embedded microcontroller with a broad range of applications and uses a Motorola 68HC11 architecture processor on an 8-bit data bus. It is designed for high-speed microcontroller applications such as digital signal processing, control and communication systems.The MB96F395RWAPMC-GSE2 architecture processor has an 8-bit accumulator, 8-bit address bus, 8-bit data bus and 8-bit index register. The processor also has two 8-bit registers, two 8-bit accumulators, one 8-bit address index register, three program counter register, two instruction register and two 16-bit stack address pointer. It also has one 8-bit program status word; including condition codes, one 8-bit stack pointer, two external 8-bit and two internal 16-bit timer registers. The device also contains an internal oscillator, one 8-bit program counter and two external interrupts.The processor operates in two modes: single-cycle mode and multi-cycle mode. In single-cycle mode, each instruction is executed in one to three clock cycles, depending on the instruction type. In multi-cycle mode, multiple instructions can be performed in parallel. This mode provides higher performance and more flexibility than single-cycle mode.The 8-bit data bus enables faster data transfer between the processor and peripherals, providing a wider range of applications and faster response time. As the instructions are executed in one or two clock cycles, higher speed execution can also be achieved, allowing for faster response time and low power consumption.The MB96F395RWAPMC-GSE2 can be used for controlling devices using PWM, serial communication and A/D conversion.
