Working Principle

The MBR0520L is an ideal high-current dual rectification diode. It works by having two distinct diodes connected in parallel to a single circuit. The negative end of one diode is connected to the positive end of the other, creating a constant direction of current flow and rectifying alternating current into direct current. The device is made up of two diodes that are connected internally, with one diode acting as the forward-biased element and the other acting as the reverse-biased element. When the AC voltage is applied, the forward-biased diode is forward-biased, allowing the current to flow through it, while the reverse-biased diode is reverse-biased, preventing the current from passing through it. This creates a unidirectional current in the circuit, thus rectifying the AC voltage into DC voltage.
