MBRT500200 is a common power electronic device, which is a three-phase bridge rectifier module. It is suitable for unidirectional power supply of motor controllers, actuators and machines. It is also an important power switching device in power supply modules, sine wave inverters, solar inverters and UPS. The MBRT500200 is suited for medium-power DC power supplies with an operating voltage of up to 1600V AC, with full-wavebridge rectification technology.
The MBRT500200 comprises of three interconnected semiconductor circuits and one passive rectifier units. In the semiconductor circuits, one two-terminal semiconductor is connected in series, which is responsible for carrying current to the semiconductor junction. The other two semiconductor circuits are connected in parallel, and each have three terminals, which are connected to the source, the static part, and the load. In the passive rectifier unit, all four semiconductor circuits are connected in series.
The MBRT500200 works by first turning on the first two-terminal semiconductor which effectively heats up and then turn on the second two-terminal semiconductor, which allows current to flow through the passive rectifier unit. At the same time, the other two semiconductor circuits, in parallel, open up their resistances and allow the current to flow in two ways to the respective loads. When the current is going through the passive rectifier unit, positive voltage is created across the semiconductor junctions, which immediately clips and stops the current from flowing through the load. This ensures that no direct current is passed through the load and prevents overcurrent conditions.
The MBRT500200 is used in a wide range of applications such as motor controllers, actuators, machines, power supplies, sine wave inverters, solar inverters and UPSs. It is designed for medium-power DC power supplies, which is perfect for applications that require a steady supply of power as it can reduce production time and improve overall efficiency.
