The MC12FA680J-T capacitor is a fixed capacitance device and utilizes a varistor-like effect in order to maintain its capacitance over time and temperature.The working principle of the MC12FA680J-T capacitor is based on the inverse conduction of electrons between two opposite electrodes, forming a polarized capacitor. When a potential is applied across the electrodes, electric field lines form between the two electrodes, which store charge within the dielectric medium (mica) and correspond to the capacitance of the device.
