The MC20XS4200FKR2 is a Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC), belonging to the power distribution switches, load drivers subgroup. This PMIC can be employed to manipulate the flow of power between multiple components in an electronic circuit, managing the power levels within different components to maintain optimum system performance. This PMIC comprises of four digitally-controlled power switches to provide both current and voltage capabilities.

The MC20XS4200FKR2 features four switch banks with eight digital outputs in total. Each switch bank consists of two n-channel MOSFETs, allowing for a higher current capacity. This PMIC also features two additional sets of parallel-connected switches for additional current loading. The two sets of parallel-connected switches are used for loading current of up to five times that of a single switch bank.
