The NXP® Semiconductors MCIMX6S5EVM10ADR is an ultra-low power, high-performance embedded processor, which provides a state-of-the-art platform for developing and testing embedded designs. The MCIMX6S5EVM10ADR is designed for applications requiring tight control of power and thermal performance and is optimized for a wide range of embedded applications in the industrial, medical, home entertainment and automotive markets.
It has a 32-bit ARM® Cortex® A7-R4 core running at up to 1 GHz, with up to 4 Gbytes of DRAM, a 16-megapixel dedicated Image Signal Processor (ISP), 3D and graphics accelerator (2D or 3D graphics) and a GPU capable of discretizing up to 1080p (HD) video. It supports multiple I/O, including Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LVDS displays. It also includes comprehensive software stacks including Android and Linux, making it easy to develop embedded applications.
