PMIC–Gate Drivers are power management integrated circuit devices that provide control signals to gates of power semi-conductors. The MCP14A0454-E/MNY is a N-channel power MOSFET driver output which provides a logic-level signal for half-bridge gate outputs for MOSFETs and solenoid drivers. The device has a slew rate control, an adjustable dead time, and an adjustable peak current limit.
The MCP14A0454-E/MNY is designed to have a maximum peak current output of 4.5 A and provides a wide variety of features to make it desirable for use in applications such as voltage regulation, motor control, and power controllers. It has an adjustable inhibit time, adjustable delay time, adjustable minimum time to maximum peak current protection, adjustable run/stop delay time, and adjustable peak current limit.
