The MCP1650DM-LED2 Evaluation board is an Evaluation board designed to evaluate the performance of the MCP16502 regulator. This evaluation board provides a comprehensive demonstration platform to evaluate the features and performance of the MCP16502 300mA step-down regulator. This board features one 6x6mm White LED channel with optional mechanical variable resistor for brightness control and one enable pin for on/off control for the LED. This evaluation board is ideal for use in applications that require low power consumption and have tight space constraints, such as portable and battery powered applications.

The board features an on-board 6x6mm white LED. An optional mechanical variable resistor allows the output current to be adjusted for different levels of brightness. The enable pin is used to control the LED on/off state. The board also includes a low dropout regulator capable of operating up to 300mA rated output current.

The board carries out a step-down voltage conversion. A user adjustable mechanical variable resistor is provided to adjust the output current to regulate the brightness of the LED.
