It is an 8-pin integrated circuit (IC) that has adjustable resistance between two terminals. The device gives designers an additional layer of control to accurately set resistance levels for a specific application.The MCP41HV31-103E/MQ is a nonvolatile digital potentiometer, meaning the IC can maintain its setting even when power is removed.
