This data latch allows the MCP4812T-E/MS to sample and hold digital input data which can then be continuously converted into analog values. Furthermore, the MCP4812T-E/MS allows for the user to independently scale both the input data and output voltage range.The MCP4812T-E/MS provides an on-chip output buffer which amplifies the analog output signal and provides filtering to reduce the effect of switching noise. This output amplifier enables the device to achieve excellent accuracy and high stability over wide temperature ranges, making it ideal for use in industrial-grade applications and automotive electronics. Furthermore, the MCP4812T-E/MS features an integral voltage reference which can be enabled for additional precision or disabled for ultra low power operation.The MCP4812T-E/MS is designed to interface with a variety of digital control systems. It is supplied in an 8-pin SOIC package which features an SPI-compatible Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI).
