The MCP6G02-E/SN is a monolithic, precision, low power amplifier specifically designed for single-supply operation. Ideally suited for instrumentation, industrial, and medical applications, the MCP6G02-E/SN is a low-power, very low cost, single-supply amplifier originally developed for the mass-market consumer. This amplifier is suitable for AC and DC coupling and is capable of being connected as both an inverting and non-inverting amplifier. It has excellent common-mode rejection and frequency response.

As part of the Linear-Amplifiers-Instrumentation, OP Amps, Buffer Amps category of amplifiers, the MCP6G02-E/SN is designed to provide a high degree of precision performance to the customer within a very small low-power package. The amplifier features a very low offset voltage, low noise, and an improved power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) which provides the highest performance in a single supply environment. It is also designed to operate over a wide supply voltage range (1.8 to 6.5 V) while achieving excellent gain accuracy.

The working of MCP6G02-E/SN is based on the concept of a single-supply configuration. This means that it uses a single positive voltage source for both the output and input of the amplifier. This eliminates the necessity for the dual positive and negative power supplies traditionally used by amplifiers.
