MCSP2425EM

The MCSP2425EM, otherwise known as a solid-state relay, uses semiconductor-based components to enable electrical current control instead of mechanical relays or switches. An individual solid-state relay circuit includes a control input, a semiconductor switch and a current path. In general, when sufficient electric current is applied to the control input, the semiconductor switch opens or closes, thereby controlling electrical current flow completing the current path. For a typical application, this closing and opening of the electrical current control take place very quickly.
