Working Principle: The ME701202 rectifier diode has three terminals, U, A and K. A connects the negative peak voltage of the AC input. The K terminal is used to connect the load, and it gets the positive voltage of AC output. When the rectifier works, U and A connect with AC input, instead, the K terminal has a stabilized DC output.

The working principle of the ME701202 bridge rectifier can be further divided into two modes. The first is single-end bias rectifier, in which the U terminal is connected to the rectangular wave output of the AC source and the K terminal is connected to the load. As the AC input voltage exceeds the rectifier voltage, the rectifier will conduct and current flow from the rectifier to the load. When the output voltage minus the forward bias voltage reaches zero, the rectifier will close. The second mode of operation is the two-ended bias rectifier, which occurs when the A terminal is connected with the AC source output. As AC voltage rises and exceeds the restoring voltage, current will flow from the rectifier to the load. When the AC output minus the forward bias voltage reaches zero, current will stop flowing.
