Power management integrated circuits (PMICs) are devices which combine and facilitate the power management functions in an electronic system. A common type of PMIC is a power distribution switch, load driver, and voltage regulator. The MIC2005-1.2YML-TR is one such product, providing an integrated 3.3V and 5V power distribution system. It is used in a variety of applications, and is typically found in computing systems such as notebooks, laptops and tablet PCs.

The MIC2005-1.2YML-TR is a three-phase synchronous buck controller, featuring current-mode control, internal or external voltage sensing, true differential current sensing, and programmable over-voltage protection. It also features an integrated digital phase-dropping circuit, allowing adjustment of the phase shedding angle.
