The adaptive operating frequency feature allows the device to drop to a low frequency when the current falls below 60mA and, when the current rises above that, it will ramp up the operating frequency.The device includes a +4.6V/+4.4V of internal negative feedback voltage reference and a voltage error amplifier that provides feedback compensation for the device\'s error amplifier. Additionally, the device features a slew rate control, which limits the slew rate of the switching elements during load transients, further reducing the noise found at the output.The device includes two smart protection circuits, a soft-start function, and an under-voltage lockout (UVLO) feature. The soft start function is enabled during each power on reset and helps to limit the inrush current during startup. The UVLO protects the device against run-away loads and over temperature operation.
