The MIC2545A-2YTS-TR is a 3.3V High-Side / Low-Side MOSFET , SPI™-Controlled Power Distribution Switch, Load Driver and Sequencer. This device integrates a single MOSFET switch, an integrated logic control and level shifting circuitry, providing a flexible and reliable power distribution interface solution in an ultra-compact 3mm x 3mm DFN-8 package. By combining a wide operating voltage range, high-efficiency power MOSFET, and advanced level-shifting circuitry, the MIC2545A-2YTS-TR is ideal for powering digital power management systems, as well as consumer and home appliances. The MIC2545A-2YTS-TR provides a high-side switch (HSS) with an integral level-shifting circuitry that can operate with up to 15V at its Source pin, and a low-side switch (LSS) with a pull-down built-in switch for in-rush current limiting. It also features integrated circuitry to ensure proper timing for power sequencing and load control.

The MIC2545A-2YTS-TR features an integrated SPI Serial Interface and Logic Control to provide a fast, efficient and reliable way to control and manage a wide range of Power Distribution Products. The SPI interface allows the device to be monitored and controlled remotely, allowing the user to configure and control the power distribution switch and load driver. Additionally, the MIC2545A-2YTS-TR includes an integrated voltage reference and a low-noise output boost switch. The voltage reference feature provides a stable power source within a wide operating voltage range, while the boost switch feature allows the user to easily increase the output current and voltage to a Rated Load in order to drive more current when required.

The MIC2545A-2YTS-TR provides protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, and over temperature conditions. Furthermore, this device supports both active low open drain (OLDP) and active high open drain (OPTP) output configuration.
