Linear voltage regulators, also referred to as linear power supplies, are a type of voltage regulator that use a low-cost, efficient and reliable design to provide a constant output voltage for a variety of different applications. Linear voltage regulators are based on the linear relationship between the input and output voltage of the device and are typically used when the voltage is within a fairly small range from 6 volts to 24 volts. MIC39150-1.8WU-TR is a high performance CMOS Low Dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator with ultra-low noise and fast transient response.
