MIC5202-3.3BM Application Field and Working Principle
The MIC5202-3.3BM is a dual-channel voltage regulators classified as PMIC - Voltage Regulators - Linear. It is used to convert voltages of higher magnitude to lower ones as required by certain electrical/electronic circuits.
The MIC5202-3.3BM is a low dropout (LDO) linear regulator that can provide an output current of up to 400mA with a voltage range of 0.8V to 16.8V. Working Principle
The working principle of the MIC5202-3.3BM voltage regulator is based on the concept of a voltage feedback loop that works to maintain a given reference voltage across the load. The regulation system is composed of two main elements: a reference voltage source and an error amplifier.
The reference voltage source provides a fixed reference voltage that is sent to the error amplifier and compared with the actual output voltage.
