MIC5332-PNYMT-TR

The MIC5332-PNYMT-TR is a low-voltage low-dropout linear voltage regulator designed and developed by Micrel Inc. The device offers ultra-low power consumption, low noise, and an enable and soft start pin making it ideal for battery-powered applications. The MIC5332-PNYMT-TR features an enable pin, programmable current limit, thermal shutdown, reverse current protection, and output trim and soft start pins.

The MIC5332-PNYMT-TR is a low dropout linear regulator that can maintain output voltage accuracy of ±2%. The maximum output current is limited to 3A and the output voltage range is from 0.8V to 6V. It features an enable pin that allows for a low-power sleep mode and a soft start pin that speeds up the start-up of the device and reduces surge current during start-up. The current limit can be programmed via external resistors between the current limit pin and ground. The device also has thermal shutdown protection. In case of the device overheating, the regulator turns off the output until the temperature drops below the trip point.
