Designed with a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and low Vcc operation of 0.9V-3.6V, the MIC803-46D2VM3-TR is used to monitor power-supply 3.3V, 1.5V, 1.2V and 0.9V in order to maintain system stability. With its thermal shutdown protection and reset circuit under-voltage lockout features, this device is designed to be resilient in the event of brownout below 3V, complete shutdown or current interruptions due to mechanical contact problems.
The reset output of the MIC803-46D2VM3-TR is enabled when VCC drops below the preset voltage threshold. Furthermore, the active-high reset output is triggered when VCC rises again and reaches the preset low voltage threshold. The push button reset feature enables the user to manually input a reset request, while the preset timeout feature provides an active-low reset output at an adjustable preset timeout period. Reset output will be kept low at this timeout period even though Vcc is still above the set trip voltage.
