MIKROE-2481 is a powerful embedded, development and evaluation board for exploring hardware and chip-level programming. It provides a wide range of features both for hardware and software, that make it suitable for a wide variety of applications.MIKROE-2481 is based on the Microchip PIC24 family of processors, which feature 16-bit wide instructions and 32-bit wide data paths. The processor is also capable of running code from up to 5 V and can interface with external devices using various communication protocols.MIKROE-2481 is divided into two main parts; the main board and the daughter board. The main board contains the processor, and a few other interconnected components. The daughter board contains specific features and components, which can be configured to meet specific application requirements. All components on the main board are connected through a standardized header, which can also be used to connect daughter boards to the main board.The main board consists of two components. The first is the main processor, which is a PIC24FJ128GA202, a low power 16-bit microcontroller.
