MIKROE-2788 is an evaluation board that helps users evaluate performance and suitability for different micro-controller (MCU) and digital signal processing (DSP) applications. The MIKROE-2788 is based on the PIC24FJ128GA006 family of microprocessors from Microchip Technology. The processor has up to 9 channels of 10-bit external analog-to-digital conversion, up to 96KB of flash memory, 29 I/O pins, a 16-bit timer, two pulse-width modulated (PWM) channels, four UART channels, three 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADC), two 8-bit timer/counters, an 8-bit watchdog timer, and programmable oscillators. It also provides a comprehensive development environment for programming and debugging MCU applications.

The MIKROE-2788 evaluation board contains all the components required to develop and test the application. It includes the PIC24FJ128GA006 processor and the necessary connectors for hooking up the components to Programmers, application-specific boards, and other components.
